This week my ISM journey was very hectic. During this week, I was supposed to have a few interviews this week, for my research, but Unfortunately those could not happen. Due to a family emergency, I had to rush to North Carolina and therefore could not conduct my interviews. Doing this taught me a lot of professional skills. I know that I’m not supposed to cancel interviews but in the situation there was nothing I could do, so I had to put my skills to use and learn how to email these professionals in the proper way. My goal was to have these interviews rescheduled as quickly as possible, in the most professional manner. I was very successful with the school as I was able to reschedule my interviews and even completed one today. I was able to learn a lot of information from nurse practitioner Emily Snyder. It was A virtual interview, but I was still able to practice basic skills such as speaking, iContact, and more. I feel very successful with my goals this week given the obstacles that I was faced with. I look forward to finishing these interviews that I have scheduled and completing more of my research.
