Mentor Bio:

Jennifer Aceves is a registered Senior Client Associate at Merrill Lynch in Frisco, Texas. She started her financial services at Lincoln Financial in 2005. She joined Merrill Lynch in 2007 as a Registered Client Associate. Mrs. Aceves then transferred to a management role where she became responsible for the oversight of operations and sales support staff. She now works on the JCMB Wealth Management group at Merrill Lynch and focuses on sales and operation support, account administration, client communication, and trade execution. 

She has a masters of business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. She holds a Texas insurance general guidelines license. She also holds a Certified Financial Planner certification awarded by Certified Financial Board of Standards. Mrs.Aceves has passed the series 7 and series 66 exams which qualify her to sell security and act as a wealth manager with fiduciary responsibilities over clients’ accounts. On top of that, she has passed the series 9 and 10 exams which qualify her to supervise financial advisors’ sales activities in general securities oriented branch offices such as Merrill Lynch. 

I chose to ask Mrs. Aceves to be my mentor because of her passion for her career. It is clear that she is very knowledgeable in the field, and that she truly loves everything she does in the wealth management field. I can learn a lot of lessons and gain so much real world experience by having Mrs. Aceves be my mentor for ISM this year.
