My name is Suhani Vasa, I am a junior at Frisco High School, and this year I am a student in the ISM course studying the topic of wealth management. Wealth management, in the simplest of terms, is about making money for both your clients, and your company. It is a specific field within the business world which focuses on handling other individual’s money, and investing it into specific stocks within the market such as the ones I listed earlier. This is done to create even more money for the client and the company.  Growing up I have always participated in sports and some form of the arts. Currently, I have earned my diploma after spending 11 years learning Indian classical dance, and play the violin, along with a few other instruments. I also played tennis for the past six years until I decided to discontinue a month ago. Growing up in a very competitive world, I have always had a strong sense of motivation and determination to reach the goals I set for myself. I put stress on the words I and myself because, ever since I have been a little girl, I have never let others influence my passions and desires. As Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon once said, “People try to force an interest on themselves. You don’t choose your passions; your passions choose you.” It is one of my strongest beliefs there is only so much others can do FOR you, the rest is up to you to figure out on your own.
